AUSTRALIA

After long flight from Delhi ,India to Melbourne I go very early in the morning to Garners hire bikes.
Garners is company we recommend very highly.Very nice and helpful people work there.I rent 2011
Harley Road King.I got also all riding clothes,helmet and navigator from them.It is also possible to rent bike from Melbourne and leave it to Perth or Sydney.Check it out if you need bike at Australia.
I gotthis tip from very old friends of mine,thanks Tipi and Maarit.

Garners hire bikes

After renting the bike I take a  road  from Melbourne to Sydney.After 320 km I turn right to Albury and from there to place called Tooma .600 km ride and I already fall in love with Australia.Great roads,very good road signs etc..From Tooma I pick up Maisa,she is a Finnish girl who is working at farm there.Maisa ride with me 5 days and then go back to Sydney to meet her boy friend Simon.

From Tooma we ride maybe 100 km to Khancoban .It start be dark ,that is why we stop.It is not so smart to ride here motorcycle when it is dark because of kangaroos and other animals.I saw 4 or 5

dead kangaroos when I was riding from Melbourne to Tooma.In Khancoban I saw first time parrots

in Australia .Very funny birds.When they start to talk or sing ,it sounds like very drunk Australian man talking!

Next morning we start to ride over Snowy Mountains.From Khancoban to Cabramura and then to Cooma and after that to Cannriver 560 km ride.One of my best motorcycling days of my life.Really good curvy roads,beautiful views ,nice weather ,no traffic at all etc.Winter time many of these Snowy Mountains roads are closed.

Next morning we take a road Cannriver-Eden-Lake Entrance-Sale-Warragul-Cranbourne-Sorrento-

Qweenscliff-Torquay.

Lake Entrance was very beautiful place.Looking like Merriterian sea countries.

We take a small ferry from Sorrento to Qweenscliff and after that we ride to Torquay and spend one nigth there at backpackers motel.That was fun.When we go to check in, it was full of young people

and they were looking at me like What the hell is this dinosaur doing here?Hehee!

That side of Melbourne where Great Ocean road start ,it is full of beaches and surfers.

Next morning Per shows up and we start to ride Great Ocean Road.One of the most beautiful road on the world.It starts from Torquay and end till Warrnambool.It is about 170 km.During the road many beaches like Apollo beach are surfers paradise.

We also check out Australians oldest lighthouse in Cape Otaway.Builtmore than 100 years ago.

End of Great Ocean Roads are 12 Apostles .Something to see.It was great day.I did have my 51 birthday same day.In the evening we have small birthday party at Port Cambell .Thanks Per.

Next morning we ride to Calac .Maisa take a train to Melbourne and fly home to Sydney.

Thanks Maisa it was great 5 days and start to talk to Simon about buying a motorcycle!Hehee!

From Calac we ride to Bendingo .Nice city ,we go to rock club and listening to local band playing.

Meet also local people and I can tell you Australian people know how to party!Next morning we take tram ride and after that we ride back to Melbourne.

In the evening we found rock club called Cherry Bar and  address was AC/DC Lane,how cool is that?

At Cherry Bar there was Hayden Blackwood playing ,check him out .One of the best gigs we ever seen.At Sunday we take tram and go to swim .Monday morning we go back to Garners hire bikes,

say good bye to them and then we go to airport and fly to Bangkok via Singapore.Australia was great country to us.Very friendly people ,good roads ,beautiful landscape,good food and beer.We promise to come back someday.Stay strong ANA and PER

Goa is smalliest state of India.I fly here two and half week ago from Riga,Latvia.
17 hours flight via Stockolm,sweden and Doha,Qatar.First morning here I go to local motorcycle
rental company and ask Royal Endfield 350 Bullet.They have one left and I rent that.It costs here
from 7-10 eur per day ,depent how long you want to rent it.Before I fly here I booked a hotel
from Vagator beach.Vagator beach is very nice place and my hotel is 300m from beach.Many people come here at evening because Vagator beach is famous about its beautiful sunsets.After sunset almost
everybody go away from here and it is very peaceful here at night time.I sleep windows open and I fall asleep every evening listening the sounds of Arabian sea waves.Yellow house hotel is owened by
one family.They also live here.They have take good care of me.I have been their family birthday party and etc.I really like these people!

Traffic here is something else.At Goa Mumbai highway NH17 there is different speed limits for
motorcycles,cars and trucks!There is vehicles everywhere.It is left side traffic here.They dont use blinkers at all.All what they use here is horn.It is very important,every time you pass car or truck you have to use horn,then they know that someone is passing you otherwise they just can turn right front of you with out blinking and then it is your fault.After few hours practice it was ok.One day when I was on my way to Dudhsagar water falls ,police stop me.I got 100 Rup ticket because I was not using helmet!Same day when I was riding back one police stop me again because not wearing helmet.
I show him my ticket and he wish me good trip and say you can go now.

One day I was on my way to Ozrant beach I miss one crossroad and get lost .I ended at small road

and there was one very cool Royal Endfield chopper outside of house.There was one man and he tell that he has built the bike.He was from England and he has been living there with his lovely wife 15 years.He and his friend start their own motorcycle shop .Check from facebook Rag & Bone Customs.

He invited me to his home ,there was one more bike at living room.During this trip I have also visiting many motorcycle workshops .It is cool see how they work here with motorcycles.Maybe

they dont have best tools in the world but make it,you know old school style!

Goa is very famous about beaches.There is lot of them.Maybe the most famous ones are Anjuna,

Vagator and Ozrant beach.They call them 60`s "hippie haven".Nowadays in Anjuna there is flea market every wednesday.My personal favourite is Cola beach ,south part of Goa,it is about 100km

from Vagator where I live.It is very peaceful place,you can also rent bungalows there if you like and there is also fresh water lagoon (blue lagoon).Looks like paridise to me.

Dudhsagar water falls.It takes 2-3 hours ride to Colem from my home.It is only 100 km but traffic

here is what it is.Roads go usually throu towns and cities.From Colem only way to go to waterfalls

is jump to Jeep.It is not allowed to go there by your own.Jeep ride takes about 50 minutes and it is

9km.It is more like Jeep safari but really nice.Dudhsagar water falls is second biggest one in India.

320 meters water is falling down.We stop there like one hour.It was enough to go to swim and take some pictures.Also lot of small monkeys asking for bananas.

There is alot to see in Goa ,churches,temples old castles ,marketing places etc.For me Goa was very good .I usally wake up every morning 7-8 o´clock and start my bike and ride few hours and then eat breakfast.Normal day I ride 4-6hours.Here it is better tell distance in hours than kilometers.I have been riding here about 2000-2500 km now.I specially like south of Goa because

of small serpentine hill roads.They are just so nice ride.Next saturday I fly to New Delhi ,one night

there and then fly to Melbourne,Australia.If I am lucky there will be Road King waiting for me.....

SUNDSVALL,SWEDEN TO HELSINKI ,FINLAND and RIGA,LATVIA

After I got my new engine ,I put it on and make few hundred kilometers test ride around Sundsvall.After that
I was ready to move on.I ride from Sundsvall to Gävle to visit my brother Ture and after that I ride
to Carolina MC ,Stockholm.Carolina MC have their traditional autumn party.At saturday me and my brother Fredde go to Harley shop (Full House Garage) to see Mighty Midget racer.Mighty Midgets
are old racing cars which has water cooled knucklehead engine.They use methanol as fuel.
Really cool machines!Saturday evening before party we have nice dinner at clubhouse and our brother Björn got his full membership to Carolina MC.Congratulations bro!
Sunday I take a ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki,Finland.I have been few days at home now.
Very nice to see my lovely wife Sanna after 3 months.I ride to Riga at  saturday and met our friends Martins and his lovely wife Agnese and their son Rudolf there.It was very nice 300 km autumn ride,about 10C warm.Late saturday evening we heat up their sauna and fresh up at cold water jaguzzi.That was nice.Best sauna outside of Finland I think!
I am leaving my bike here and Martins put it in container and ship it to Ushuaia,Argentina with theirs and Pers bike too .Martins and his friend are following us to south america.Thanks for helping.Tuesday morning I will fly to Goa ,India and try to rent Royal Endfield and make some road trips there too.
