PANAMA

After Bogota ,Colombia we fly to Panama City,Panama. We needed to stay there 2 nights because bikes fly after us.We did have time to swim at Carbian ocean and relax a little bit. When bikes arrived we pick them up from Tocumen cargo terminal. It was quite easy maybe 2 hours. After that we ride to Panama canal. There is museum Mirafores where you can see history of Panama canal. We were litlle bit unlucky because they closed 5 pm. We turn around and take hotel for one night and come come back next day.At Panama canal we met Lynn, she is from USA and riding to South America with her motorcycle  ALONE!What a lady!Have a safe trip girl!

From Panama canal we ride to Santiago about 300 km.Just one night there and next morning we ride over the mountains to Almirante.Nice ride ,nice road ,heavy wind. When we were at caribean sea coast line it was hot again.Last 60 km from Punta Pena it was road thru jungle. They have lot of banana fields here.We leave bikes at safety parking for 3 days and take a boat to Bocas del Toro.It is group of paradise islands.Next days we go swim, snorkling and see the dolphins.

Almirante. They send lot of Chiquita bananas all over the world from here

Some where alone!
Panama was good to us.People dont talk so much here, maybe they dont like tourist. Many times they just turn their back to you and walk away.Strainge.After we take a boat back to Almirante we ride to Costa Rica but that is another story.Stay strong Ana and Per.

COLOMBIA

After Ecuador,we cross over borderline at Tulcan. It was quite easy ,maybe 2 hours. It was raining again and we only ride 200 km to Sibundoy. We spend one night there.Next morning we ride over the mountains to San Agustin.First 100 km was bad road.It takes 4 hours to ride.Landscape was beautiful. At San Agustin there is more than 500 stone head status .They were located near by graves. They dont even know nowadays who these people were and what is meaning of these status?

After San Agustin we ride two days to Bogota.Good road ,takes lot of time because it goes thru all the villages and towns. In Bogota it seems to be rush hour all the time.More than 7 million people lives there.Next morning we ride to see Veronica from LynnCargo. They help us to air cargo bikes to Panama. There is no road between Colombia and Panama.Veronica did great job.She also booked us personal flight tickets very cheap. We needed to wash bikes before flight. We needed to come back at cargo terminal next morning because police wanted to see our bikes before flight. In Columbia there is not so much to tell about.Short visit and next day fly to Panama.
