USA,Texas,Louisiana

After 15 days at Matamoros,Mexico we finally go to US consulate for interview. Then things start to go fast.We tell them about our trip and our plans for US.After  interview they said come back 3
o´clock and your visas are ready! We like to  thank these people from US consulate at Matamoros. They we really kind for us and understand what was name of the game.We also like thank Christina Miller,
who make many calls to US consulate and make things running fast. Thanks!
After we pick up our visas,we ride to US custom at Brownsville and this time they let us in.
We take hotel from Brownsville.Iris and Arturo come late that evening also to Brownsville and we eat late dinner with me.They just wanted to make sure that we are leaving Mexico,he hee!
Next morning we ride to local motorcycle shop called Border Line Customs. They change our oils and put new front tires. My front brake master cylinder start to leak. They put new repairing kit but damage was in cylinder. They call to Wayne ,owner of motorcycle shop at San Benito and he said that he has used one if I like to buy.So we ride to San Benito and visit Wayne´s shop.Wayne is old school biker,he has collect Harley parts more than 50 years! He is building now motorcycle from 1911!

One story I like to tell,we visit also Flight control center,That is place they control all Apollo flights
at early days. There was also one screen what shows live picture from US space station what is flying
around the earth. They tell us that it flies 16 times around the earth in one day.So that means ,those
people who are up there they see 16 sun rises and 16 sunsets every day!!!How cool is that?

After space center we ride little bit more and spend one night at Beumont. We visit local harley dealear ,Cowboy Harley Davidson .We buy some oil ,start reley , brake fluid and new hat for Per.
Next day we take smaller roads at sea side and ride thru many wild life areas. We saw alligators, wild boars, pelicans etc..Really nice ride. There was also old men catching blue crabs. They use chicken legs as bites.Lucky fellows, they can eat blue crabs everyday if they want!
Before Jennings Per´s battery broke.Per took my bike ride local Harley dealer at Lake Charles. When I was waiting beside the road ,more than 10 people stop and offer their help. That always warm up my heart! When he came back ,we put new battery in but that was also dead! Then one man stop by,his name was Chad ,he also ride Harleys and offer his help too,he call back to Harley dealer and ask if they can bring new battery for us and make sure that this time it is ok.They said no problem we charge one new battery and we make sure that it is full charge and bring it to you. After one hour waiting they call back and tell that this battery is also dead! What a joke!
Per and Chad jump to Chad´s car and ride back to Harley dealer and they give money back. Then
they ride to battery shop and came back.We put new battery on and problem was solved,
Thanks Chad!

MEXICO

From Guotemala we ride to Mexico. We take small crossover point in Tapachula.Mexico custom was nice and easy.We needed to pay 20 USD turist fee because we stay at Mexico more than 7 days.
We also pay 59 USD for temporary use of motorcycles and 200 USD for deposit of motorcycles what they return when we leave Mexico.Next day we ride to Coatzacoalcos which is at caribean sea side.
During that day police/military stops us 7 times! They tell us that it was some kind of international operation in central america. They stop everybody.Landscape starts to be more dry here.
Most of landscape is like desert. From Coatzacoalcos we ride to Veracruz. It is one of Mexicos important harbor towns. They have very nice Marine museum there.

Next morning we ride Tajin.Tajin is old town made by indians .Lot of pyramids etc.Place to visit.

From Tajin we ride to Tuxpan. We spend only one night at Tuxpan.Next morning we ride to Ciudad Victoria. That morning when we start to ride to Tuxpan, our GPS choose small road. One more time enduro road!We ride  30 km like 2 hours!Food has been very good in Mexico, specially jalopenos.
After one night at Tuxpan ,we wake up very early next morning and our plan was cross over border line  to US at same day. When we were at US custom, they interview us 8 hours.Problem was because we have Iran visa at our passports and we spend  6 days at Iran during this trip.We did not have US visa because citizens from Sweden and Finland dont usually need it.Before custom we fill up ESTA applications and that is usually enough. So after 8 hours interview they return us back to Mexico.
At this moment thing is that we have contact US consulate here in Matamoros and next monday 28th of March we have time for interview at consulate, then we know better.

This is what like, you can buy motorcycles and televisions from same shop!
Ciudad Victoria

Early morning at Ciudad Victoria
Matamoros. It is small sleepy town at US borderline. When they return us back from US to Mexico we found nice, cheap hotel from central of Matamoros.Same evening we try to find restaurant where to eat but here it looks like everything is closed very early. Then we see one place what looks interesting,it was ArtCafe. We go in and meet Arturo and Iris, they run that place. They have been very kind and helpful for us during this time we have been here. One evening we borrow their kitchen and offer them swedish meatballs. Thanks Arturo and Iris.We have been here in Matamoros two weeks now .At this moment time goes very slowly.Arturo and Iris have show Matamoros town for us.
We have been several museums, watching drag racing (thanks David) .There is not so much more to tell about now, just spending time and wish that we can have US visas and keep on going.

It takes maybe 2 hours at custom. After custom we ride to Puerto Viejo. It is small town at caribean sea side.Nice beaches.Next day we ride to La Foruna. There is vulcan called Arenal. It is still active.
Costa Rica is most european style country in central America.Very clean ,friendly people ,landscape is very green like jungle.

After Costa Rica we ride to Nicaragua. At custom ,it takes 4 hours to pass it.They disinfect bikes ,it was some kind of chemicals they spray to tires and it cost 3 USD.There was other custom fees for 12 USD.Custom was like big joke. You need to fill lot of papers and collect stamps for them etc.

We turn around and take hotel for one night and come come back next day.At Panama canal we met Lynn, she is from USA and riding to South America with her motorcycle  ALONE!What a lady!Have a safe trip girl!

From Panama canal we ride to Santiago about 300 km.Just one night there and next morning we ride over the mountains to Almirante.Nice ride ,nice road ,heavy wind. When we were at caribean sea coast line it was hot again.Last 60 km from Punta Pena it was road thru jungle. They have lot of banana fields here.We leave bikes at safety parking for 3 days and take a boat to Bocas del Toro.It is group of paradise islands.Next days we go swim, snorkling and see the dolphins.

Panama was good to us.People dont talk so much here, maybe they dont like tourist. Many times they just turn their back to you and walk away.Strainge.After we take a boat back to Almirante we ride to Costa Rica but that is another story.Stay strong Ana and Per.

COLOMBIA

After Ecuador,we cross over borderline at Tulcan. It was quite easy ,maybe 2 hours. It was raining again and we only ride 200 km to Sibundoy. We spend one night there.Next morning we ride over the mountains to San Agustin.First 100 km was bad road.It takes 4 hours to ride.Landscape was beautiful. At San Agustin there is more than 500 stone head status .They were located near by graves. They dont even know nowadays who these people were and what is meaning of these status?

After San Agustin we ride two days to Bogota.Good road ,takes lot of time because it goes thru all the villages and towns. In Bogota it seems to be rush hour all the time.More than 7 million people lives there.Next morning we ride to see Veronica from LynnCargo. They help us to air cargo bikes to Panama. There is no road between Colombia and Panama.Veronica did great job.She also booked us personal flight tickets very cheap. We needed to wash bikes before flight. We needed to come back at cargo terminal next morning because police wanted to see our bikes before flight. In Columbia there is not so much to tell about.Short visit and next day fly to Panama.
