I am waiting my new motor here in Sundsvall Sweden now.I am expecting it comes this week,I hope.
Meanwhile I have time to meet my club brothers and friends here .We were visiting our friend Anders Nygren from Delsbo last week.He and his son open my broken motor.It is in very bad
condition.It did make any sense to repair it this moment that`s why I buy new one .
Anders is owener of FLATHEAD POWER ,company which makes cylinders and heads for old Harley flatheads.If you have any problem with old Harley flatheads he is the MAN who help you.
We also meet our old friends Bablo and Monika there.Bablo has real cool knucklehead chopper.

Yesterday me and brother Mackan visit Matte Palms garage,he has cool drag racing car and he is building Yamaha chopper too.
That is why I have always love Sweden,it does not matter where you are ,there is always someone

MAKEDONIA,KOSOVO,SERBIA,CROATIA AND AUSTRIA

After Greece we ride to Makedonia .Makedonian custom officer stop me and ask how much I have marijuana?I said I dont have anything,then he ask me to open saddle bags and start to check out.
Nothing found ,but officer said to me stay here.Then he walk to his office and stay there 1/2 hour.
After that he come back to me and ask why I am still here?I said that because you say so,then
he said ok,you can go now!Sometimes I just dont understand these custom officers.
In Makedonia our green cards didnt work.We needed buy insurance for our motorcycles from boderline.10 Eur 15 days.Roads are very slippery there.After boderline we just ride throu Makedonia to Pristina,Kosovo.We found small hostel Istanbul,which was very nice,just walking distance from
centrum.Double room cost 20Eur.Man who own the hotel was really nice,he make us food,let us park
our bikes behind hotel ,where was pool and bar.He tells a lot about history of Balkan countries.
We did have charcing problem at Pers motorcycle and hotel owener calls some people who are working at local motorcycle shop.They come to pick us up from hotel and we ride with them to their garage.We did have one extra complete charging kit with us.These friends help us to repair it.
After that they say that we can ride with you to hotel and we can drink something.They said
that they cant drink alcohol because they are muslims but if you like to drink beer it is ok with us.
So we go back to hotel sit down ,they drink coffee and we drink beer.We watch pictures from our
cell phones and talk about motorcycles.These men also ride motocross and make stunt tricks with their street bikes.very nice people.Thanks Ali,Zgjim,Berat and Gervalla.It was good to meet you.
In Pristina I like very much people who live there,very polite and friendly.They have 4 different religion there catholic ,muslims etc. and they can live there side by side without problems.
It is  paprika season there,every marketing place, you can see lot of paprikas and chilies.
After Pristina ,Kosovo we ride to Croatia ,take road side hotel and next morning we start very early
and ride to Wien ,Austria.40 km before Wien my motor start to make terrible noise.
We stop at shell gas station and I understand that my motor is badly broken now.We were camping outside of gas station in our tents.We put our facebook site if someone knows any transpotation from wien to Sundsvall ,Sweden.After few minutes our friend Jamppe informed that there is one man from
Finland ,Ahti Isometsä coming to Austria with his van.I moved my bike to Fischer`s Harley Davidson ,Wien.
Fischer`s Harley Davidson is big Company,they also have american restaurant.Very good food there.
All the people very nice there,we recommend,visit there if you are in Wien.We did have few extra days before Ahti come and pick me up so we decide to take hotel from centrum.
Wien is very nice town I liked very much.Good food,wiener schnizel,saussages etc.We visited also war museum and crime museum and we take turist bus and ride around the city.Also we ride with tram.This is about it now.I am writing this in Wien now.Tommorow I take my motorcycle to Sundsvall,Sweden.Take a motor away and ask if someone can repair it.When bikes are ready,then we send them to south-america.This is the way it is now,stay strong.ANA and PER

GREECE

After Turkey we take ferry from Chesme,Turkey to Chios Greece.Chios is small island just 50 minutes ferry trip from Turkey.We found very nice small hotell there and spend two nights there.
Owener let us repair motorcycles outside of hotel at street.We were there two days because it was impossible to have ferry tickets from Chios to Patras.Reason was that in Chios everyday comes migrants from Syria like 300-1000 with their small boats.Two weeks ago there was no migrants at all.It is not so nice to see.Most of these people need help.Old sick people,babys are crying because they are hungry.They carry all what they own.Not so good hygienia.There was also people from Syria living in fancy hotels and before that they have already live in Turkey like two years but
now they want to come to north Europe because of better living.The day we left Chios,police
ask us to move our bikes some where else because there was some kind of religion meeting
next hotel from ours.We see when priests start to come to their hotel,lot of police and security men was there too.In the evening our ferry leave Chios around 23.00.When we ride to ferry we see lot of these migrants from Syria.The ferry was more than full booked.We sleep at sleeping bags at deck.
We also meet one couple from Italy,Genny and Francesco.Francesco also come back from Iran and Armenia with his motorcycle.Genny fly from Italy to Turkey and Francesco pick her up from airport and they ride together back to Italy.It was good to meet you!After ferry trip we ride 400km from Patras to Agiannis,it is small village and there was nice hotel/camping area near the beach.
Hotel room for 2 people costs 25 Eur,not bad.We where only 3 nights at Greece ,not so much to tell about it.Keep in touch!ANA and PER

BACK TO TURKEY

After Iran we ride back to Turkey.We spend one night at Agri,same hotel we had last time.
Next morning we ride to Ercincan also same hotel Meva we had last time.It was very nice to stop
there people regonize us immedetly and wellcome us.Feeling little bit like coming home.
Next morning we ride to Kayser.On our way there police stops us.Little bit over speeding.
They did not give us any tickets just say that take it easy.After Kayser we ride to Mersin.
After we booked hotel and shower ,we walk little bit and find one nice restaurant.We sit there outside
and I saw one girl was drinking red winw.I ask from waitress if I can also have glass of red one?
She said that they have red wine but they dont have no more wine glasses.It was the only one at next table.I said that it does not matter you can put red wine any kind of glass and she did.After 15 minutes she come back with real wine glass and ask me if she can now put my red wine in wine glass?Ofcourse I said but where did you find it now?She said that she walk to local shop and buy
one!That is service!At same restaurant at our table there was one cat sleeping at chair.We try to
move the cat but cat was so stubborn and refuse to go anywhere so we let the cat sit with us.I understand that cat was host and we were just visitors.
After Mersin we ride the coast road to Alanya.I call to my old friend Paula and ask if she was there
but she said that she is in Finland now.Paula give me phone number to one man from Finland who is
living at Alanya with his wife.Henrik and Maria are their names.We meet these lovely couple few times.One night we were watching when our famous skijumpper Matti Nykänen was singing at Harrys bar.That was something.4 days we spend at Alanya,it is like turist place.Not so much to see but it was nice to relax there,go swim at merriterian sea etc.After Alanya we ride to Antalya because
there was Harley Davidson dealer .We buy new battery to Pers bike and oil for motorcycles.They
also make Pers front brake plates straight.At another side of the road where Harley dealer was,there was company called TT CUSTOMS.They also make custom bikes at Turkey!
After Harley shop we start to ride and we understand that Pers bike is not charching anymore.
We take one more night at Antalya.Next morning we think what to do,we have battery charger with us ,so we think to start to ride again.We try to find a ferry from Turkey to Greece.We see from internet that there is ferry going from Kasadas to Greece and it was .We ride there and there was ferry but it did not take any motorcycles or cars only passangers.We ask and they say that only ferries go from Izmir to Greece.We ride to Izmir and ask policemen if they know where the ferry is going to Greece?
They make few phone calls and exlained to us that ferry goes to greece from Chesme .So we needed
to ride 100km more and booked tickets to Chios,Greece.That was very small ferry.
After all we see quite much Turkey.Coasts at Black Sea and Merriterian sea are totally different
world than inside land of Turkey.After we were in Alanya there was also some bomb attacts one day later.It is not so nice when people are fighting against each other.But thats all now.

IRAN

 GOING TO IRAN

Last night before we go to  Iran, we meet one man, Maurizio De Biasio from Italy.He gives us very good tips about Iran.He was there 3 weeks with his motorcyle.Next morning we ride 130 km from Agri to Bazargan crossover point.Turkey /Iran custom is like big theatre.People are running here and there and it looks like nobody is running the show.They also change money there.One euro is 33600

Iran Rial,so we were millionars after changing few hundred euros.Most of the people who are working at the custom don`t have any uniforms and there are also civil people who offer their help with papers (it looks like they are working there) .After they have help you they ask 30 euros for helping!We give one man 10 euro together.Cross over was quite easy anyway.

TABRIZ

From boderline we ride 400km to Tabriz.We see that they are using old trucks from 70`s still here.

Many of the cars are old too.In Iran biggest motorcycle ,you can have is 250cc.It is forbidden to have bigger ones.You can imagine what they say when they see our Harleys!Many of local motorcycles are copies of Honda.Before Tabriz we got our first rain.We were top of the mountain before Tabriz

when it starts to rain and that was cold water.In gas stations in Iran they usually don`t sell anything else than gasoline.Gasoline costs about 30 cent here.We stop at gas station outside of Tabriz and ask for hotel.Only man who speaks few words of english was totally drunk,alcohol is forbiden in Iran.That was funny.He and his friends
offers us tea at garrage.After tea we start to go centrum and after 1,5 hours hard ride we found one.
Traffic here is totally chaos.Nobody use blinkers,People are walking between the cars .Traffic lights
looks like they are some kind of decorating lights.It does not matter if it is red or green ,cars are still coming.Next morning we visiting blue moskey.

After Tabriz we ride very curvy mountain road to Astara which is at Caspian sea.Police stops us just before Astara ,they just want to see our bikes.
We were looking hotel at Astara centrum and stop outside icecream shop to ask help.There was one young man working there and he offers us icecream for free .He also ask us if we need quide,he can show the town for us.We found one hotel and booked in and after shower i was waiting Per outside of hotel.Two brothers come to me and we start to talk and they said that they have motorcycle .One of the brothers pick up the bike and showed it to us.After that we jump to their car and drive to seaside
for eating.We eat falafel hot dogs (vegeterian hot dog) and after that we go to see caspian sea and stop one park there where one of their friends  barbique corns.We eat corns too,they were biggest ones i have ever seen ,(40 cm long).They also put some kind of lemon juice to corns after they have barbiqed it.Really good.In Iran it is very common to sit at the parks and eat there.After eating we take small sightseeing with brothers and then back to hotel.The brothers pay all the food.

After Astara we ride small town called Bandar Anzali.It is like spatown.We ride to beach and swimm at Caspian sea.We try to go swiming earlier but it was too big waves.After swiming we start to ride again and road goes back to mountains again.The best landscape we have seen so far.It takes us 11 hours to ride 400 km .Roads go usually throw towns here .In the evening we were at Qasvin .
After shower we take small walking around the Qasvin centrum and we go to eat some kebabs.
When we were eating there one man come to our table and say that his name is Milan and he is english teacher.After eating we walk with him and he show Qasvin to us.In Qasvin there is oldiest road ever built in Iran,and it is still everydays use.He tells us that discos and dancing places are also forbiden in Iran.He said that it looks like at future many things hopefully is going to change.
Wind of changes are blowing here ,i hope.

URMIA

After Qasvin we ride to Urmia ,town nearby Turkey boderline.We take a road that goes throw saltlake.It was night time ,did not see so much.We stop before Urmia centrum ,it was like marketing are at roadside where they are selling fruits and vegetables.Trafic was really bad,thats why we stopped ,there was football game or something.We wait there and one Iran family come to us and ask if they can take some pictures?Ofcourse we said.Then they ask us where are we going and we said that we try to find hotel.They said that we can follow their car and we can sleep at their home and mother promise to make us late dinner!So we follow them about 20 km and go to their home.
They also let us to use their washing machine so we can have clean clothes.What a nice people.
They have very nice garden where they grow own fruits and vegetables.We were sitting on the floor
and eating chicken and rice and vegetables.After eating we sit down and drink tea and talking very important things like football and formula one .Father Ali tells us that he istruck driver and he drives in Iran and Asian countries.Youngiest son Soheil tells us that he likes hamburgers ,pizzas,kebabs,hot dogs and peaches!They have to sons ,older ones name was Ali too.Their mothers name was Nasrin and she was really good chef.Next morning we eat some breakfast and start to go again.Family takes us to right road to Sero(crossover point at south).Before Sero we stop at gas station and local people
said that Sero crossover point has been closed for two days now.So we needed ride to Bazargan again.At Bazargan everything went well execpt at Iran custom,we needed to wait almost 2 hours before we can go to Turkey custom.No reason or explanation about that,maybe it was just Iran custom who want to show their power for us.At Turkey custom one officer telss that it has been dangerous there two days now and he recommend us that drive 30-50 km and don`t stop.We ride 130
Agri without stoping.That was our Iran trip.People are very polite and friendly there.Thanks Iran ,you were good to us.Ana and Per

After few very nice days at Kiten camping we start the bikes and ride to small town afterTurkey borderline called Kirklareli .Small problem with Pers bike,primary side littlebit noisy.We found small
motorcycle shop there .Very friendly people there,they help us to repair the bike and once in awhile
they bring us turkish tea when we working at the bike ,nice.When the bike was done we ride to Istanbul.That is a big city.They tell us around 17 million people living there.For us traffic was little bit too much, cars and trucks and motorcycle coming from everywhere passing you half meter a way from you.We ride local Harley shop and ask if they can change oil to our bikes and they say it is ok ,come here 10 o`clock next morning.We take hotel nearby the harley shop and ride back to shop next
morning .we wait 2 hours ,Nobody come ,shop was still closed.When we were  waitting there ,6 turkish
motorcycle police show up and come to us.Very friendly they shake our hands and look at bikes.
We tell them about our trip and they wish us good luck for the trip.In Turkey motorcycle police drive
like 2 men and one bike.We never seen it before back home.After Istanbul we ride small town called
Kursunlu.Just one night there.In the evening we meet young local boy who very interesting about our motorcycles.He had million questions about the bikes and touching bikes everywhere.We answering
him best we can ,he was speaking turkish and we english.Next generation biker for sure!
5 o`clock in the morning we wake up .Seremony starts at moskeya next to our hotel.They have loudspeakers outside so everybody can hear.After that small town we ride very hard 600km
to Erzincan.Roads was very good ,going between the mountains but side wind was really strong.
We got one email from Dr.Durre S. Ahmed from Pakistan ,she is working for Finland MFA and
tell us that situation between Iran and Pakistan boderline ,specially Pakistan side is very dangerous
and we should not risk our lives,so now we have decided that we are not going to Pakistan.
Here at Turkey when you go to gas station you can`t fill up tank yourself.They do it by themself and
give you receipt and then you go to pay it ,you have 2 more receipt one for yourself and one for
how fill up your gastank,you have to show it and then you can go.When you are in gas station or motorcycle workshop it is very common that they ask you to sit down and they bring you turkish tea for free!Some of these turkish roads at mountains are so steep at down hills that trucks must drive
20-30km/h! Down hills can be many km long.When we ride there 100km/h with our harleys ,we close the throttle and bikes were still running like nothing happends still same speed.Must be really carefully ,brakes can over heat easily.After Erzincan we ride Agri,small town maybe 150km from Iran boderline.Yesterday when we come here some couple have a wedding ,20 cars drive around the centrum and they throw MONEY out from the car,never seen happened before!Tomorrow we try to go to Iran ,this evening we meet one man Maurizio de Biaslo from Italy and he just come back from Iran ,he was there 3 weeks.He said that in Iran there is no internet connections so next up date will
be several weeks from now.Stay strong!Ana and Per
