MAROC,AFRICA

After we leave bikes at US we fly to Casablanca,Maroc.Casablanca is biggest town in Maroc.
It is at seaside of north Maroc.Casablanca is also most important harbour at north Africa.
It is also famous about old movie Casablanca.Maybe most famous attraction at Casablanca nowadays is Hussein II moskey.It is worlds third biggest moskey and biggest one outside of Saudi Arabia.
There is place for 25000 people inside and 80000 at outside .This is BIG.

 

Near Hussein II moskey there is Rick´s Cafe.It is copy from movie Casablanca.Actually movie was not filmed in Casablanca but nowadays this cafe is very famous turist place.And about movie Casablanca ,Ingrid Bergman never said  "Play it again ,Sam".She said "Play it Sam.Play "As time goes by".

 

Casablanca was much more European style than I was thinking.Lot of long beaches,quite cheap,friendly people etc.

 

After Casablanca we took a train to Tangeri.We just stay one night there and take next morning ferry to Tarifa,Spain.From Tarifa  we took a bus to Marbella.After few days at Marbella we too a bus to Alicante ,whrere we have few friends.Thanks Sami and Longas!That time we got some information from US.Our bikes were still there.After Alicante Per fly home and I ride Sami´s parents car from Spain to Finland.Now when I am writing this ,it is 17th of May and bikes are still at US.I will let you know what happened when this is over.Now we are waiting for our bikes and hope that they will come soon and we can end this trip but until then ,stay strong Ana and Per

WASHINGTON DC AND NEW YORK,USA

After Daytona , we ride to Washington DC .Just stop one night at Emporia.Our friends Andzs and Eva are living in Washington.They take good care of us.Andzs takes us for motorcycle ride .We ride around White house,Congress,Washington monument,Pentagon also visiting Arlington cemetery etc.

After Washington DC we ride to New Jersey and stay there one night .Next morning early ,we ride to

Jersey City and leave our bikes to shipping company´s storehouse.They will ship our bikes to 

Bremerhaven,Germany.From Jersey city we take ferry to Manhattan where we stay 2 nights at YMCA hostel.New York is big city.Many things to do and see.I just put some pictures here where we have been.

After all US was good to us.Big country.Good roads, easy to travel.It is 24th of April when I am writing this.This evening we fly to Maroc,Africa.Thanks USA.Stay strong Ana and Per

GEORGIA,FLORIDA USA

After Lynchburg ,we ride south to Alpharetta,Atlanta.We stay Christina´s and Marty´s home several
days.They show us Alphreta and Atlanta.Atlanta is city were Coca Cola came from.They have 1996 olympic games here.One day we make trip to Birmingham,Alabama with Marty.There is world´s biggest vintage motorcycle museum.(Barber motor sport museum).That place was huge.Five floors
more than 700 motorcycles and America´s biggest Lotus sport car collection.There is Mika Häkkinen`s old Lotus formula 1 and Jarno Saarinen´s old Yamaha too.Place to visit .Thanks Cristina and Marty ,it was good times.

After Alphareta we take Interstate 75 down to Florida.Few good riding days.We spend one night at Sarasota.There was Gulf beach resort motel.Thay built it early 50´s,nice place to stay.After Naples we take highway 41 which goes thru Everglades to Miami.Straight good road .Everglades is largest subtropical wilderness in US.You can see alligators there and take air bout ride.

After Everglades we took highway 1 down to Key Largo.Keys are group of islands at south Florida.

You can see most beautiful sun sets here.Next morning we ride to Key West.It is very nice road wich goes from island to island and you can see sea both side of the road.Keys are good place if you like water sports and fishing.Ernest Hemingway had a house in Key West.Nowadays it is museum where

you can see 6 toe cats!

After Keys we ride to Miami and Per change his rear tire at Peterson´s Harley.It is southernmost

Harley dealer in US.From Miami we ride to Daytona for couple of days.Daytona is my kind of town.

Lot of motorcycle shops,many biker bars like Boot hill saloon,Iron Horse saloon etc..We visit also 

Daytona international speedway where race with NASCARs.This time there was not race but anyway it is place to visit.Really nice just cruising around and eating good food (lobsters) ,swim at Daytona beach.At Daytona beach you can also ride with your bike or car.Life is good here!
